All the Bean Geese have been updated. There’s been new sightings of all the birds except Tuomo. For some birds there are more than 20 new sightings!  Users have been notified. Unfortunately the data for the geese is not public, but only accessible for the adopters.

I’m currently waiting for an update of the source database for the Bean Geese. Most likely there will be sightings of the geese in the adopt-a-bird project there. Just waiting for the researcher to do the punching.

At the moment there’s only two birds. The crows are tagged in the archipelago of Kvarken. A world heritage area, and truly an amazing place. The crows are part of  Jouni Kannonlahti‘s project. The birds are just being ringed so there’s no previous history for these birds.

Here are photos of the bean geese currently in the project. They look like mug shots (sorry geese!, the only thing we suspect you of is being endangered). The individual data of the geese have to be password protected because the research results are unpublished. Individual users have access to one bird each.
